The Greene County Historical Museum is hosting a special free event on Friday.
With it being St. Patrick’s Day on Friday, everyone is invited to a social gathering at 1pm. There will be conversation and songs performed. The event includes readings from Jefferson residents Hollie Roberts and John Turpin, along with Betty Connor Kuebler, also of Jefferson, who immigrated to Greene County from Northern Ireland in the late 1950s. Music will be performed by Jefferson’s own Rick Morain on the piano and Peg Raney on guitar.
The lively atmosphere will also include free refreshments, including cake and cookies, as well as drawings for Irish door prizes.
