The Jefferson City Council will meet tomorrow night.

The meeting will begin with a public hearing on the proposed 2024 fiscal year budget, followed by the resolution to approve the budget. The Council will then consider for approval the appointments to the new animal shelter board, a contract with Ft. Dodge Asphalt to resurface Lincoln Way from Highway 4 to Grimmell Road, along with the first pay estimates for the sanitary sewer lining project and the wastewater treatment plant improvement project. Additionally, the Council will consider purchasing audio equipment for the downtown square, a resolution for a Community Development Block Grant for the upper story project at The Centennial for $453,071, and a resolution authorizing adoption of policies and procedures regarding municipal securities disclosure.
