The registration period is open for the Perry Parks and Recreation Department’s girls youth softball league but the deadline is closing.
Families or guardians will have to sign up their child for t-ball or the softball league for ages eight through 12 by 8pm on Monday, March 13th at the McCreary Center. Players will learn the fundamentals of softball and get to travel and play in surrounding communities. The t-ball league will play on Mondays and Wednesdays along with girls eight-years-old or younger will play on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10-year-olds will play on Mondays and Thursdays and 12-year-olds will play on Tuesdays and Fridays. Practices will start in April and games will begin in May and last until the middle of June. The fee is $25 for the t-ball league and $40 for the other divisions. Parents should contact the information listed if interested in becoming a coach.
