3:35am: A Traffic Stop in the 300 Block of East Madison Street resulted in Royce Gonnelly of Jefferson being cited for, “Fail to Provide Proof of Financial Liability and Operation without Registration.”
9:47am: Jean Feldman spoke with an officer concerning some civil questions.
11:34am: Linn County DHS reported a Sexual Assault case they are working on, which may have occurred in Jefferson. The officer is assisting in the investigation.
1:33pm: Michael Miller reported he had fallen victim to a Scam. He had wired a large sum of money to a subject, with large, promised returns. He can no longer get the subject to respond to his attempts. The officer will investigate if possible.
2:48pm: Diane Conroy advised of a Stray Dog near Park and Elm Streets. The officer was enroute to the Animal Holding Facility, when the animal’s owner called to report the dog was missing. The animal was returned to the owner with a Verbal Warning.
4:57pm: A caller advised of Loud Music in the 600 Block of South Oak Street. The officer checked the area, but did not locate anything.
5:53pm: Zein Ibrahim spoke with an officer concerning No Contact Violations against him.
6:12pm: Suzanne Eliserio spoke with an officer concerning Civil Issues with her landlord.
8:25pm: Josh Tuel reported a semi traveling at a high rate of speed, coming into Jefferson from the west. The officer set up in the area with radar and located the semi. There were no infractions of law.
9:41pm: A Traffic Stop at Elm and Washington Streets resulted in Christopher Murphy of Jefferson being cited for, “Operation without Registration.”
******* An officer received lab results on items seized on 02/26/2023. The officer has requested Arrest Warrants for Audrie Leiann Lawrence, 22 of Jefferson for, “Possession of Controlled Substance/marijuana 2nd Offense – Serious, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Simple.”
******* Officers have requested arrest warrants after completing an investigation into Violations of a No Contact Order. Warrants have been requested for Zein Mohommed Ibrahim, 35 of Harcourt for, “Violation of No Contact Order (4 Counts)- Simple.”
******* An officer has requested Arrest Warrants for two subjects involved in the Theft of Alcohol from 106 West Washington Street on 02/28/2023. The requested warrants are for Eric Nathan Ranker, 18 of Scranton for, “Possession of Alcohol by Underage Person – Simple and Theft 5th Degree – Simple.” Also requested warrants are for Christian Michael O’Brian, 19 of Jefferson for, “Possession of Alcohol by Underage Person – Simple and Theft 5th Degree – Simple.”
