Dallas Center-Grimes boys basketball team will play will a trip to the state tournament on the line tonight.

The (14-9) Mustangs are coming off a victory over Council Bluffs Lincoln by a score of 57 t0 54 on the road in the semi-final of the substate 8 bracket. Hudson Ehlert is coming off a monster game scoring 15 points and Jonathan Howard shot the ball well and added 12 points in the win over the Lynx. Now DCG will take on the (21-2) Waukee Warriors at 7pm at Waukee Northwest High School. The Waukee Warriors currently sit at the fourth ranked class 4a school team in the state and are led by their senior forward Omaha Biliew who averages 22 points and 10 rebounds per game. According to a recruiting profile, Biliew is the 10th best player in the country and holds a commitment to Iowa State.

The Mustangs will need to carry the momentum from their win over Council Bluffs and continue to shoot the ball well along with rebounding over their tall front line.
