The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors will meet in session today.

The Board will consider for approval the appointment of Clerk and Trustee appointments for Orange Township, before hearing an update on the Hungry Canyons Alliance, and Iowa Governmental Health Care Plan to look at fiscal year 2023-24 health insurance premiums. They will then hear a department head update from County Engineer Josh Sebern and consider approving a temporary easement right-of-way contract and final payment for a bridge replacement project.

The Board will also have an update on the American Rescue Plan, and local assistance and tribal consistency fund, before going into extensive discussion on items pertaining to the Law Enforcement Center. They will consider for approval a potential change order, substantial completion for seven companies and retainage release for four companies associated with the project. The Board will finish the session with a budget work session pertaining to County contribution to Guthrie County Libraries Association , Guthrie County Fairgrounds and 4-H, Region XII Council of Government, Elderbridge Agency on Aging and Western Iowa Tourism for fiscal year 2023-24.
