Some people may be unsure of what to do when they see something that they question.
Guthrie County Sheriff’s Deputy Jesse Swensen says if there’s a situation where people don’t know what to do, he suggests to always give the Sheriff’s Office a call.
“We encourage any citizen to call with any complaint, no matter how big, or how small, or how insignificant something might be. The smallest tip could lead to the biggest break in any case. So please, if a citizen sees something that they are questioning, or don’t understand, or just think is odd or suspicious behavior, please either call 911 or call our landline here at the Sheriff’s Office and report that. You never know where any tip may take an investigation.”
If Guthrie County residents need to get ahold of the Sheriff’s Office for something that isn’t an emergency, they can call dispatch at the number in this story online.
