Two deadlines are this week for grant opportunities in Greene County.
The Greene County Community Foundation and the Grow Greene County Gaming Corporation are offering grants for worthy projects within Greene County. Organizations looking to apply to either group must be aware of the threshold cut-offs. The community foundation will accept projects that are less than $35,000. Those projects that are $35,000 or more must apply to GGCGC. Jefferson Matters: A Main Street and Chamber Community Executive Director Matt Wetrich says having GGCGC and Greene County Community Foundation together in the same county is a true blessing.
“Two have both entities functioning very well together, I mean they’re separate, but certainly a lot of good communication between the two to understand what’s what, and help point people to which one is the best use of their time, or funds, or which way it may be. So yeah, certainly a huge asset for a community as a whole.”
Both deadlines are February 23rd at 4pm. You can click the links below to access either grant application.
