The Dallas Center-Grimes starts their postseason journey against Carroll tonight.

The (18-3) Mustangs will look to advance to the State Quarterfinal at the Wells Fargo Arena for the third year in a row. Their aspirations to win a state title will start with having to beat  (11-11) Carroll from the Raccoon River Conference. The Tigers are coming off a quarterfinal victory over Perry by a score of 69 to 30. Sophomore  Katelyn Aiden will provide the bulk of the offense for the Tigers with Shay Sinnard’s ability to add some good minutes as a senior. It’s no secret that the Mustangs have not played a game in a week so its a key they get off a good start in this game. Emma Miner was brilliant in their last game against Pella with 22 points and Finley Fitzgerald shot the ball well with 14 points.

It’ll be the Little Hawkeye Conference champions taking the floor at 7pm in the DCG Meadows-Gymnasium. The game will be broadcasted live on KDLS-2.
