A new business in Jefferson recently received a specialized grant.

Elliott Art Studio is owned by Chad and Alyssa Elliott of Jefferson, which is located at 113 South Chestnut Street. They applied and were approved for a $5,000 Jefferson Wants You Incentive Fund New Business Start-Up Grant. These funds will help off-set some of the expense of starting up a new business. 

The Elliott Art Studio will feature pottery, paintings and other art displays from the Elliotts. They will also have a space for live music, including Chad who is a well-known musician. The new business is scheduled to open later this spring.
