The Greene County School Board met Wednesday night in regular session.

The meeting started with a $1,500 donation from the Grand Junction First Presbyterian Church to the school lunch program. The Board also acknowledged and commended Jeri Gettler for her 21 years of service and Robert Stofer for his 12.5 years of service for their retirements at the end of the school year.

Then the Board held a public hearing on the 2023-24 school calendar, which was approved after there was no public comment made. They also approved the recommendation from the Garland Company to award a $420,220 bid from Brockway Roofing to replace two portions of the middle school roof this summer.

The Board will make its counter offer at a future open meeting.
