The Perry boys basketball team jumped out to an early lead and never looked back Thursday night, defeating Woodward Academy 72-49 in non conference basketball at the Perry Sports Pavilion.  Perry turned a 14 point halftime lead into a 31 point cushion entering the fourth quarter.  The Bluejays shot the ball well for the second straight night connecting on 51% from the floor.

Geren Kenney led the offense with 18 points, Holden Smith 14 and Zander Mahler 13.  Perry improves to 6-13 and will host Saydel tonight at 7:30.
