The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors meet in session Thursday.

The Board heard an update from County Engineer Josh Sebern. In the update, they approved a control discharge lagoon facility site separation waiver for the city of Bayard, and a resolution setting fence compensation rates. Karen Varley from Midwest Partnership presented a request for a county contribution of $35,127 that the Board approved.

There was a budget presentation from County Auditor Dani Fink, in which the Board approved the hiring of one full-time clerk for the Auditor’s Office. There were also budget presentations by County Attorney Dana Minteer, Human Resources Representative Jamie Lindsay and Facilities Manager Brandon Thompson. The Board also approved payment number 26 for the Samuels Group, and discussed the dispatch console and a project update on the Law Enforcement Center project.
