The Perry City Council met on Monday

The Council approved Grason Hill to become the interim Fire Chief of the Perry Fire Department and they approved the application of Matthew Halling as an addition to the fire department. 

They also approved the Tax Abatement Applications for Residential Construction Completed or to be Completed in 2022 which is meant to promote residential construction and renovation by reducing the amount of property taxes. The Council approved the renewal of the Federal Migratory Bird Depredation, Matt McDevitt was appointed a representative to the Dallas County Local Housing Trust Fund and the annual Pump Maintenance Service Agreement with Electric Pump. 

They approved authorizing a purchase agreement for the Land Acquisition community to acquire property owned by Jon Peters located north of Iowa Highway 141 and east of 26th Street and the three ordinances relating to zoning regulations.
