The Perry boys basketball team fell to South Hamilton 83-74 Friday night in Heart of Iowa action from Jewell. South Hamilton led by as many as 13 in the second half but Perry cut the deficit down to 6 on a couple of occasions in the fourth quarter.
Sophomore Geren Kenney had a big night, leading the Perry attack with a season high 30 points and 15 rebounds. Owen Myers added 17 points while Zander Mahler added 12 points and a season high 9 assists. Perry was 5-15 from behind the arc.
Perry falls to 3-9 and will host West Marshall Tuesday inside the Sports Pavilion.
