A needed service has been expanded at Greene County Medical Center.

Starting January 16th, Dr. Jeffery Wahl will be accepting appointments for orthopedic services on Monday afternoons from 1:30-4:30pm. This is in addition to his Thursday clinic hours from 8:30am-4:30pm and surgical procedures that are done Monday mornings at the medical center. Dr. Wahl has been with the medical center for 12 years and says it is important for him to include more hours for services so that people don’t have to travel somewhere else.

Dr. Wahl is a Jefferson-Scranton High School graduate and earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Simpson College in 2001 and his doctorate degree in 2005 from Des Moines University. Dr. Wahl completed his internship and orthopedic surgery residency at the Cleveland Clinic-South Pointe Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio.
