A deputy spoke with a home owner in the 1100 block of Q Avenue about the theft of personal property from the residence.
A deputy is investigating criminal mischief to a work trailer owned by Gutter Express of Jefferson. Damage to the trailer occurred while it was parked at a work site in the 300 block of I Avenue.
A deputy was dispatched to the Heartland Cooperative in Rippey for a reported collision between two semi-tractor trailers that occurred on the curve between 300th Street and U Avenue. A 2006 Peterbilt tractor-trailer that was being driven by James Ray Smith of Jefferson was traveling southwest on the curve at U Avenue when a 1995 Kenworth tractor-trailer being driven by Dale Alan Thompson of rural Rippey was traveling northeast and rounding the curve on 300th, when the two vehicles side swiped each other. The 2006 Peterbilt tractor trailer that is owned by Michael Edward Denhardt of rural Rippey sustained an estimated $5000 in Damages. The Thompson 1995 Kenworth tractor trailer sustained an estimated $4000 in damages. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued.
A deputy was advised of a rural mail carrier’s vehicle sliding off the gravel road in the 1600 block of Neola Avenue. The car was towed back onto the roadway without incident.
A deputy is investigating a burglary and theft of tools and copper wire from a residence in the 1000 block of X Avenue.
A deputy was dispatched to the 400 block of North Main Street in Grand Junction for the reported theft of a Garmin GPS unit from an unlocked vehicle. The theft is under investigation at this time.
In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
