the growThe price of groceries continues to soar and if you want to eat healthy, especially fresh foods, it can be tough on the pocketbook.

A local group in the Perry area is starting up a new project that looks to offer fresh, organic foods to those who might not have access to them otherwise.  The Grow School Garden project is still being created, but so far creator TJ Maylum says the community has been really receptive and supportive of the idea.

An informational meeting on the project will be held tonight and everyone is invited to attend.  It takes place at 6pm in the Brady Library at Perry High School.

We’ll have more with Maylum on today’s Let’s Talk Dallas County during the 9am, noon and 5pm hours on KDLS.
