The Adel Public Library is preparing to launch their summer reading program.

This year’s theme is Fizz Boom Read and it starts in June with a kickoff party with Blank Park Zoo.

Last year, more than 600 people participated and logged 8,334 hours of reading.  This year they are hoping to increase attendance in all four age groups, babies, kids, teens and adults.

More information on the programs will be available late next month.
