The Jefferson City Council will meet tomorrow night.
The Council will consider for approval the 2023 annual appointments, a part-time employee for the Greene County Animal Shelter, and setting a public hearing for the maximum property tax levy for the next fiscal year. They will also consider for approval the second reading to amend an ordinance to increase the sewer rates for the next fiscal year, a resolution to update the procurement policy for Community Development Block Grants, and a resolution to become a member of Safety Group Central Iowa South and Iowa Association of Municipal Utilities agreement.
Additionally, the Council will consider approving a resolution for the additional parties membership addendum to the Chapter 28E Joint Intergovernmental Action Agreement for SGCIS, a resolution to set a public hearing for the main City Hall entrance plans and specifications for improvements and there is also an appeal of code enforcement officer determination of an abandoned vehicle.
