The next free Ag Coffee program is happening later this week at Greene County ISU Extension.
Extension Director Lori Mannel says the topic is Technology in Ag and Cybersecurity. This informal discussion will be led by Mike Richards with technology and Extension Farm Management Specialist Alexis Stevens. Mannel invites everyone to join the conversation, especially when it comes to cybersecurity.
“Well cybersecurity, it seems like those people that sit in their basement or wherever they’re sitting, trying to get people to rid their money. They’re becoming more and more sophisticated and more complicated. We call them ‘Ag Coffees’ but this is a topic that’s open to anyone that wants to learn more about technology and also about how to protect yourself with your electronic information.”
This Ag Coffee takes place on Friday from 9:30-11am. It is free, due to the sponsorship of Community State Bank, and no pre-registration is needed.
