adm-7

Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Tigers basketball will be back on the court this evening when they take on the Winterset Huskies on the road, as they will be looking to put up a strong performance. The girls enter the game with a 6-5 record, while the boys are 5-4 on the year, as ADM will be looking to put up some key wins.

On the girls side, the Tigers and Huskies will renew a series that is always entertaining. Winterset comes into the matchup with a 5-3 record and have one of the most dynamic scorers in the state in senior Jena Young. After a tough loss on Tuesday for ADM, they will be looking for better execution and finding good play from key players.

The Winterset boys are 3-3 in conference and 4-5 on the year, as they will be hoping to add a key win. They were a state semifinalist a year ago in 3A, and though still looking for their best basketball, this program is well coached and usually plays with great energy. ADM was able to win the matchup between the two teams in Winterset last year 76-61. The Tigers will have to take care of the basketball and shoot well beyond the arc.

The girls will be tipping of at 6 pm and the boys will follow. You can listen to the game on True Country K1079, the KKRF app, and raccoovalleyradio.com. Adel Healthmart pregame coverage will begin at 5:45.
