In an effort to train more individuals to be first responders, a class is being offered at the Greene County Career Academy.

An Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) class will be from January 11-March 27th on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6-10pm. Additionally, there will also be some required Saturday sessions from 8am-5pm as well, and those are listed below. This class is open to anyone who wants to be an EMT and those individuals that are being sponsored by a service or an entity may contact Paul Arens to receive a sponsorship form. Other income-based grant funding is also available for this course. The class is taught by Iowa Central Community College staff.
