Last year's Compensation Board from December of 2021

The Greene County Compensation Board will meet tomorrow.

The Compensation Board is an advisory board to the Greene County Board of Supervisors that makes recommendations for salary increases for county-elected officials. The representatives on the Compensation Board include Mary Jane Fields and Jim Unger for the Supervisors, Guy Richardson for county auditor, Tom Heater for county attorney, John McCormick represents the county sheriff, the county treasurer’s representative is Tim Heisterkamp and Adam Pedersen is with the county recorder.

Last year, the Compensation Board unanimously approved to recommend to the Supervisors a 15-percent salary increase for the sheriff and attorney, a ten-percent increase for auditor and treasurer, and an eight-percent increase for the supervisors and county recorder. The Supervisors agreed and approved the recommendation, with the exception of their own salary increase, which they reduced from eight to seven-percent.

The upcoming Compensation Board meeting will take place at 2pm tomorrow in the boardroom of the Greene County Courthouse.
