There is no school Thursday for Greene County elementary and intermediate students.

Principal John Hueser tells Raccoon Valley Radio the district has not yet received the occupancy permit they need to allow students in the building.  Hueser says they’re undergoing some major renovation projects this summer and some of the doors came in late.  Therefore, the Fire Chief did not have adequate time to inspect the building and issue the permit.

The district is looking into temporary options for the next few days.  Stay tuned to Raccoon Valley Radio for further information on if and where classes will be held Friday and Monday.
