Guthrie County teachers should apply for the Agriculture in the Classroom Teacher Supplement Grant soon.

The grant is presented by the Iowa Agriculture Literacy Foundation in conjunction with the Iowa Farm Bureau Federation. The grant awards teachers up to $250 for them to use on a project that teaches agriculture literacy through different subjects.

The grant can be used to help with lessons, activities, classroom resources and field trips. Applications aren’t limited just to teachers though, school librarians and Homeschool Assistance Programs can also apply.
