There’s home wrestling on tonight’s schedule for the Greene County Rams and Coach Zach Beekman’s team is hoping the third time is a charm. There haven’t been any home meets yet for the Rams after weather related postponements Nov. 29 and Dec. 15.

Tonight’s action at the high school in Jefferson starts at 5:30 p.m. with the Rams hosting Van Meter, CAM (Anita), Nevada, and Saydel (Des Moines). The Rams are 1-6 in dual meets and forfeits have been the main culprit due to a lack of numbers out for the sport, injuries, and other issues. Most of the other four teams the Rams take on tonight have similar issues. The Greene County lineup may get a bit of a boost as a couple of last season’s regulars could be making their season debuts.
