The City of Perry has named Mike Landals as the new Public Works Superintendent.
Landals is a native of Perry who has lived in the community for 55 years. He is a graduate of Perry High School and has a degree from Des Moines Area Community College. He has more than 17 years of experience in Public Works and recently held the role of Municipal Maintenance Worker for the city. Landals will be responsible for the planning and administering the day-to-day activities for the Street and Sanitation Departments while also coordinating projects, overseeing the maintenance of equipment and budget.
