Tuesday, December 13th

6:59pm: A deputy, Greene County Ambulance, and Grand Junction Fire and Rescue responded to a two-vehicle accident on 220th Street near North 11th Street. Sarah Schagt 35 of Carroll was westbound on 220th in a 2020 Ford Fusion. Caleb Johnson 29 of Jefferson was west bound on 220th Street in a 2005 Honda Civic. Caleb rear ended Sarah causing an estimated 2,000 dollars damage to the 2020 Ford Fusion and 3,000 dollars damage to the 2005 Honda Civic. Sarah was transported with suspected minor injuries by Greene County Ambulance. Caleb was arrested for operating while under the influence 2nd offense, following to close, and open container.

10:18pm: Caleb Johnson 29 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for operating while under the influence 2nd offense, following to close, and open container.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
