The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors met in regular session Tuesday.
The Board heard an update from Guthrie County Conservation Director Brad Halterman, who let them know of some upcoming work in the spring for one of the bridges on the Raccoon River Valley Trail. Halterman also alerted the Board to bridgework planned by the Dallas County Conservation Board on the recreational trail, as it could impact traffic that Guthrie County sees on their portion of the trail.
The Board also discussed information brought to them about insurance for cyber coverage, along with the annual renewal for the county’s insurance and worker’s compensation by State Street Insurance Owner Becky Benton, and approved a payroll change notice for the Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office to hire a new jailer.
