The Iowa Agriculture Literacy Foundation (IALF) is teaming up with the Iowa Farm Bureau Federation to offer grants to classrooms around the state.

The Agriculture in the Classroom Teacher Supplement Grant can be applied for by preschool through 12th grade teachers, school librarians, and Homeschool Assistance Programs. Funds from the grant can be used to help with innovative lessons, activities, classroom resources, guest speakers and much more.

Any teacher that is awarded a grant will receive $250 to use to help with a project that teaches agriculture literacy through language arts, math, science or social studies. More IALF guidelines for the grant can be found at the link below. Applications for the grant must be submitted by January 9th, 2023.
