Greene County has wrestling and basketball on the schedule for tonight. Coach Zach Beekman and the wrestlers go to Adel while the basketball teams host PCM (Monroe).

The Rams face both the Gilbert Tigers and ADM Tigers at ADM High School in non-conference action. These are the first dual meets of the season for the shorthanded Rams, who only have 16 out for the sport. The Rams won’t be able to fill all 14 weight classes due to the lack of numbers and other factors.

Girls’ basketball head coach Tori Ogden and boys’ head coach Chris Nelson will watch their teams play at home for the fourth time in five games when the Mustangs visit the high school gym in Jefferson. The girls are 0-4 overall and 0-2 in the Heart of Iowa Activities Conference while the boys are 1-1 in the league and 2-2 on the season. Coverage tonight starts at 5:45 p.m. with the girls playing at 6 o’clock and the boys to follow.
