pickle-ball

The McCreary Center in Perry is adding a new sport to keep people active during the winter months.

Organizers say pickleball is a new game sweeping the nation and now there will be open-play for people to learn the game while also giving those experienced players a chance to compete. All equipment is provided but the McCreary Center staff encourages players to wear tennis shoes and athletic clothing. The open courts will be every Friday evening from 6 to 8pm in the month of December. The cost will be $2 for non members and free for members.
