Both the ADM boys and girls basketball teams were on the court on Saturday afternoon when they took on the Atlantic Trojans in a non-conference game. Both teams were able to find some success, as the girls were able to pick up a win 47-40 and then the boys followed with a 68-37 win.

The girls move to 3-2 on the season while the boys are 1-2.

The girls had a good fight on their hand as they only lead by two at half and trailed by two after three quarters, but they were able to score nineteen in the final frame and step up for a needed victory. A pair of seniors really stepped up, with Nicole Storek putting up 18 points and Addison Banse adding nine as well. The Tigers were able to record fifteen steals.

On the boys side, the Tigers led by 10 at halftime and then had an offensive burst in the second half to pull away for a convincing victory. The Tigers were able to get strong performances on both ends of the court, as they played with good effort and energy through three games this year.

Both teams return to the court tomorrow at home against Gilbert. You can hear the game on True Country K1079.
