Wednesday, November 23rd

8:48am: An Officer responded to a vehicle collision at Lincoln Way and Cedar Street. A silver 2002 Toyota Avalon, operated by Sandra Quam, of Jefferson, was traveling eastbound on Lincoln Way. A 2002 Ford Windstar, operated by Joann Laxson, of Jefferson, was traveling northbound on Cedar St. The Laxson vehicle failed to obey the stop sign at Cedar St. and Lincoln Way. The vehicles collided within the intersection. Damage to the Laxson vehicle was estimated at $1,000. Damage to the Quam vehicle was estimated at $3,000. Laxson was issued citations for “Fail to Obey Stop Sign” and “Violation – Financial Liability – Accident”.

10:15am: An Officer was called to a business in the 1500 block of West Wood Dr. in regard to a suspicious odor within the building. The Officer did not locate the source of the odor.

10:56am: An Officer was advised of two dogs running at large in the 100 block of S. Maple  St. The officer did not locate the dogs.

11:02am: An Officer was called to a residence in the 500 block of S. Olive St. in regard to lost cellular telephone.

2:03pm: An Officer was called to a residence in the 300 block of E. Lincoln Way in regard to a juvenile who would not cooperate with parents. The Officer assisted the family.

4:19pm: An Officer spoke to a subject in regard to a civil situation. The Officer spoke to those involved and gave advice.

5:54pm: An Officer was advised of an injured deer at Highway 4 and Neola Ave. The Officer did not locate the deer.

5:56pm: An Officer assisted a Greene County Deputy with a vehicle collision at 220th St. and Orchard Ave.

6:42pm: An Officer was advised of a suspicious vehicle at Daubendeik Park. The Officer checked the area but did not see anything out of the ordinary.

9:33pm: An Officer was called to a residence in the 400 block of E. McKinley St. in regard to a harassment situation. The Officer provided advice.

Thursday, November 24th

9:15am: An Officer was called to a residence in the 500 block of N. Olive St. in regard to a missing item. The Officer assisted the subject. No crime had occurred.

9:43am: An Officer was called to the 400 and 500 blocks of S. Locust St. in regard to damage that had been done to yards, by a vehicle, the night prior. The Officer is investigating.

11:27am: An Officer assisted a Greene County Deputy in the 1600 block of Newberry Ave. with a domestic situation.

12:16pm: An Officer spoke to a subject in regard to a possible harassment. The Officer provided advice.

3:49pm: An Officer assisted Greene County EMS in the 700 block of Rushview Dr.

7:40pm: An Officer was advised of a possible intoxicated driver near Highway 30 and Elm St. The Officer located the vehicle but did not see any infractions.
