For the first time since 2018, the Jefferson Garden Club is bringing back a holiday tradition.

The Holiday Tour of Homes will showcase four residences in Jefferson on Saturday, December 3rd from noon-4pm. This year’s theme is “All Hearts Come Home for Christmas” and each featured home ranges from ages of when they were built.

Ginny and Lyn Showman’s house was built 102 years ago as the craftsman style brick with holiday decorations of Santa collections and cookie jars. There will be unique holiday themes in each bedroom and a tree of memories on display. Another home belongs to Marianne and Roger Carlson of a 1955 newly remodeled structure that highlights a dream kitchen and views of a wooded area.

A third home is Becci and Bob Hamilton with the 2000 home that is described as a modern prairie-style home with bountiful fresh greenery, a collection of nutcrackers and winter art inside. The fourth home is with Miranda and Mike Wahl. Theirs is newly built with a spacious kitchen, expansive living room, a unique upstairs loft with a separate theater room.

This is a come and go event with a self-guided tour of each home. Tickets are $10 per person and can be purchased at Home State Bank, Heartland Bank, The Printer’s Box, or Peoples Bank Tickets can also be purchased the day of at the Welcome Center and refreshments at the Welcome Center are included.
