Even though it’s over six months away, planning and modifications are happening for the 2023 Bell Tower Festival in Jefferson.

The Jefferson Rotary Club announced a major change to the parade route for the upcoming event. The parade will continue to be the Saturday of the festival and line up will remain at the middle school on Ram Drive. The route will proceed north on Chestnut to Lincoln Way. From there, the entries will turn east for one block and officially end at the Greene County Historical Museum at the intersection of East Lincoln Way and South Locust Street. 

An ad hoc committee met earlier this fall and made the decision to change the end of the parade route for safety of the parade viewers and participants to have a couple of city blocks cordoned off for better viewing. This change will also allow for larger parade entries for some of the local industries. The route change will not interfere with the beverage and seating area that is already located on East Lincoln Way between Chestnut Street and Wilson Avenue. 

The 2023 Bell Tower Festival will be June 8th-10th.
