The Dallas Center-Grimes girls wresting squad traveled to Nevada High School this past weekend for a tournament.

Saturday, A number of wrestlers placed at the top of their weight classes that started with Gracie Waage finishing the tournament with 30 points and in first place of the 110 pound division along with Leah Newell placing second also in the 110 pound division with 26 total points. Additionally, Asia Jahangir placed second in the 135 pound division with 26 points and Bella Mulder finished in second place in the 140 pound division with 28 points. Finally, Josephine Bond was able to grab third place in the 120 pound division.

The Lady Mustang wrestling team will be back on the mat tomorrow at 7pm in Norwalk High School.
