
Thursday, November 17th
11:28am: An employee with John’s TV and Appliance reported a vehicle having been parked near the store front for over 24 hours. The Officer was unable to reach the vehicle’s owner. The vehicle will be towed if it is not moved.
11:43am: Devin Ross of Jefferson reported a suspected identity theft. The Officer is investigating.
2:37pm: Nikki Henderson of Jefferson reported a property dispute. The Officer investigated and found a crime had not occurred.
3:50pm: An anonymous caller reported a stray dog running loose on North Elm Street near 220th Street. The Officer checked the area and did not find the dog.
3:59pm: An Officer performed a traffic stop in the 300 block of East Lincolnway. As a result of the stop, Kane Borgeson of Ogden was issued a citation for “Dark Window / Windshield Prohibited”
4:57pm: An anonymous caller reported animal neglect possibly occurring at a residence in the 300 block of South Wilson Street. The Officer is investigating.
5:42pm: An Officer performed a traffic stop near the intersection of 220th Street and North Elm Street. As a result of the stop, Oswaldo Escobar Morales of Des Moines was issued a citation for “Fail to Have Valid License while Operating a Motor Vehicle”
7:31pm: An Officer was requested to perform a welfare check in the 500 block of Hickory Lane. The Officer assisted as needed.
10:56pm: Lila Marks reported she was concerned for a family member who was late returning home from work. As the Officer was investigating, Marks called back reporting the person had been located and was not in need of assistance.
