A new business in Stuart is up and running.

4J Farms LLC based out of Redfield has opened a storefront location in Stuart. The Country Niche will provide access to pet and livestock nutrition that 4J Farms carries, and be a place where crafters can consign their works for sale.

Store Manager Angela Burg says that for the store, they wanted to have an old country store feel.

“Long term visionwise, we’re looking at bringing it in as a country store atmosphere. So you’ve got the down home, old time country to come in and purchase the vintage candies, and maybe the short bottles of pop they used to have as a kid, and be able to sit at the round table and play cards and have coffee and get free popcorn, and just enjoy your time together. It’s kind of a place where everybody can come together under one roof and get along, and have a great time at the same time, and reminisce.”

The Country Niche will have its ribbon cutting today at noon in front of the store, at 111 S Division Street in Stuart, but everyone is invited to check them out during normal business hours.
