The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors met in their regular session Tuesday.
The meeting began with the second public hearing and consideration of the second reading of the resolution that would make emergency medical services an essential service in Guthrie County. After a short discussion, the second reading was approved, and the third and final reading was scheduled for the Board’s next regular meeting next week.
The Board then heard an update from Guthrie County Conservation Director Brad Halterman, who talked about new regulations for the Raccoon River Valley Trail in Guthrie County. The Board also approved payroll change notices with the County Treasurer and County Attorney’s Office.
Additionally, they approved abating property taxes for a delinquent property and a liquor license for Lake Panorama National Resort. The meeting ended with the canvass of votes from last week’s election, where no results were changed.
