The Dallas Center Grimes held the first ever sanctioned Iowa High School Athletic Union girls wrestling meet and the Mustangs won both matches on Monday.

The Lady Mustang wrestling squad defeated Spencer by a score of 45 to 36. They totaled 11 takedowns and won six duals by falls, one by decision and another by forfeit. DCG then beat Ankeny 48 to 27 with 11 takedowns and they won by seven falls and one forfeit.

The DCG Girls Wrestling Squad will head to Nevada for the Nevada Invitational on Saturday and they will take on eight other schools.
