West Central Valley Schools performed their Veterans Day programs on Friday.

The elementary students performed songs and recitations for the public in the high school gymnasium. The students sang some classic patriotic songs like God Bless America and Sea to Shining Sea. They also sang some that had an interesting twist, like Grand Ole Flag and This Land is Your Land with a ukulele, and Oh Thank You Veterans, which was sung to the tune of Oh Christmas Tree.

West Central Valley Schools took time before they finished the program to thank all 40 veterans that attended the performance. The middle school and high school both had their own programs that they performed as well.
