Art On The Prairie will have many featured activities in Perry today. 

There will be three events that are from 10am until 5pm and that includes visual artist booths and acoustic music at the Festival Venue, Poetry on the Prairie readings and workshops at the Studio on Second and musician Chad Elliot will be a featured artist at the Cellar of La Poste. At 10:30am, the Perry Public Library will host a special storytime with a local author Megan Cline and from 1 to 3pm there will be a performance and a hands-on workshop from The Girls Rock! Des Moines and they will challenge the existing narratives surrounding the Latin Pop music genre. Also Downtown Perry Businesses and restaurants will have special hours and specials deals for today and tomorrow. 

Raccoon Valley Radio’s Big Red Radio will be live on location of the event from 9 to noon giving update from the Art On Prairie.
