The Paton-Churdan School District invites everyone to their Veterans Day program on Friday.

Student Council Sponsor Makayla Sparr tells Raccoon Valley Radio the event begins at 9am in the gym with the kindergarteners leading everyone in the Pledge of Allegiance, followed by the National Anthem, performed by the high school choir. P-C students will then share handmade gifts and “thank you” letters and cards with veterans that are in attendance. 

Sparr notes there will be other activities with the students throughout the program and their two keynote speakers include John Lonergan and Glen Rohden. The event will end with the playing of Taps from Wayne Lautner. After the program there will be free donuts and coffee served.
