Greene County High School cross-country runners have been presented letters and other awards. Head Coach Jeff Lamoureux and assistant coach Lyndsey Duncan presented varsity letters to manager Sadie Shannon, as well as runners Noah Hinote, Ethan Frederick, Kolby Angell, Gavyn Winters, Carter Hinote, Mylo Taute, and Jaden Koller on the boys’ side. Girls earning letters were Olivia Shannon, Autumn Stevens, Ava Jablonski, Ava Minnehan, and Leah McCormick.

Hinote and Shannon were named Most Valuable Runners. Hinote ran at the Class 2A boys State Cross-Country Meet north of Ft. Dodge and was the first qualifier (male or female) from here to make it to State since 2017. Shannon was the top Greene County female finisher in every race this season.

Angell, Frederick, and Stevens were named Most Improved, while Taute and Jablonski received Newcomer of the Year honors. Carter Hinote and Ava Minnehan were the Freshmen of the Year, and Winters earned the Hardest Worker Award. Spirit Awards went to Koller and McCormick.
