Dallas Center – Grimes volleyball was on the court on Tuesday night for their Class 4A regional final when they took on Cedar Rapids – Xavier. The Mustangs competed well but couldn’t keep up with the top ranked Saints, falling three sets to none 25-16, 25-21, and 25-13. DCG concludes their season at 20-17.

The Mustangs knew they had a tough challenge against Xavier, and was able to make some plays throughout the night, but couldn’t find enough momentum to find the victory.

DCG was able to finalize a winning season, a stat that they have been able to accomplish in eight of their last nine seasons.

DCG will return the majority of their roster for next year, as they will be aiming for more winning ways in 2023.
