Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Tigers volleyball was looking for a state appearance on Tuesday night when they took on Indianola. The home side was too much for the Tigers, as they were to put up a victory by the score of three sets to none 25-9, 25-20, and 25-23.
The Tigers were overwhelmed in the first set, as they were unable to find a groove against an energized home team. The Tigers were much better in set two going back and forth, but couldn’t find enough points down the stretch. The third set, ADM was close to taking their first set of the night, but Indianola was too much as they were able to find the sweep against this pesky Tiger club.
For the Tigers, they end the year with a 19-10 record, and will be graduating five seniors from their roster. They are projected to bring back a lot of talent on their team next year, as Trevor Irwin was able to guide a very successful season for this ADM program.
