Greene County ISU Extension is starting up its newest series of Ag Coffees next month.
Extension Director Lori Mannel says the first Ag Coffee takes place on Wednesday, November 2nd from 9-10:30am with the topics, “Weather Outlook.”
“And we’re very excited because of timing, Justin Glisan is the state climatologist, he’s going to be in town. So we thought this would be a great topic that almost everyone wants to talk about the weather and the strange conditions that are happening with our weather. Whether derechos, or drought, or hurricanes in different parts of the country, what’s all about this climate change?”
Home State Bank is sponsoring November’s Ag Coffee as the informal discussion will be at the Extension Office in Jefferson.
