3:09am: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with an arrest on South Elm Street and Park Avenue. Esefan Kinfer 43 of Missouri was arrested for operating while intoxicated.

3:59am: Esefan Kinfer 43 of Missouri was booked into the jail for operating while intoxicated.

6:16am: A deputy assisted with a medical call in the 700 block of Walnut Street, Scranton.

11:40am: Kaleb Lentz 28 of Scranton was booked into the jail for driving while barred.

7:48pm: Justin Downs 37 of Churdan was booked into the jail to serve a sentence.

8:07am: A deputy investigated a driving complaint on N Avenue near 140th Street.

9:33am: A deputy assisted the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office with a medical call in the 400 block of North 5th Street, Coon Rapids.

10:45am: A deputy conducted a traffic stop on Main Street in Scranton. Kaleb Lentz 28 of Scranton was arrested for an arrest warrant for driving while barred.

6:27pm: A deputy removed a deer from the roadway on 220th Street and J Avenue.

Saturday, October 22nd

1:04am: A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle on 220th Street near C Avenue.

6:35am: A deputy investigated a noise complaint in the 700 block of East Main Street, Grand Junction.

2:11pm: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with the arrest of Jay Orsack 55 of Churdan for operating while under the influence.

6:41pm: A deputy investigated a verbal argument in the 700 block of Lincoln Street, Scranton.

10:31pm: A deputy investigated a driving complaint on S Avenue near 170th Street.

10:50pm: Jay Orsack 55 of Churdan was booked into the jail for operating while under the influence 1st offense.

Sunday, October 23rd

12:18am: A deputy assisted with a medical call in the 100 block of 190th Street.

9:56am: A deputy investigated a vicious dog complaint near East Main Street and Hager Street, Grand Junction.

12:30pm: A deputy investigated a domestic in the 1100 block of 244 th Street.

2:52pm: Curtis Hoyt 57 of Perry was booked into the jail to serve a sentence.

5:19pm: A deputy assisted with a medical call on 220th Street near J Avenue.

5:59pm: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with trying to locate an animal in an apartment in the 1000 block of West Adams Street.

8:26pm: A deputy, Jefferson Fire, and Churdan fire responded to a tractor fire on Fitzpatrick Street in Churdan. The Case IH Quad Track was a total loss. It is believed a bearing in the track assembly started corn stocks on fire in the track.

9:28pm: A deputy located a stolen vehicle out of Minnesota on N Avenue and 170th Street.

11:45pm: Bryant Andeson 34 of Rockwell City was booked into the jail to serve a sentence.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
